ORIENT M-FORCE 200m - Titanium
ORIENT WATCH CO., LTD. releases the new ORIENT M-FORCE 200m - Titanium in the spring of 2013. The M-FORCE is an authentic sports watch first released in 1997. As the name “M-FORCE” (short for “mechanical force”) suggests, it is a mechanical watch expressing “forcefulness” that has been widely acclaimed since its initial release. The new ORIENT M-FORCE 200m – Titanium features ISO-standard water resistance to 200 meters for use in scuba diving and shock absorption enabled by a special structure. The high-impact 47 mm case with a strong presence, and bracelet are made from titanium, which is said to weigh half as much as stainless steel, making it dramatically lighter and more comfortable to wear.
Titanium has the advantage of not rusting easily, and is highly resistant to corrosion in seawater especially, making it a material that is particularly suited to diver’s watches. For the bezel, which is susceptible to external shocks, stainless steel, which has greater scratch resistance than titanium has, is used, finishing with high functionality and a voluminous design. By using different materials for the case and bezel harnessing the advantages of each material, the product is ideal for daily use no matter what the occasion. An authentic diver’s watch that is both lightweight and strong, it still has the same forcefulness and presence unique to the M-Force.
