A Closer Look at the All-New Adventurer World Time

The Adventurer is a watch that is truly primed for a trip around the world. While GMT and Dual Time watches exist in our vast collection, they’re limited by displaying just two distinct time zones. The Adventurer is what we call a “world time” watch, simply because when set properly, it will display the time in 23 countries around the world, all at once. You will only have to set your watch correctly once, and as long as it stays wound, the time in major cities across the world will be available with just a quick glance. With the Adventurer on your wrist, home may not feel as far away as it is.

The Adventurer watch has been offered in three gorgeous colorways – black and rose tone, black, and eggshell. Each dial features a subtle sun burst effect, which adds a hint of glimmer without being overly ornate. The hour markers and dauphine hands are all polished metal, while the date wheel and power reserve arch feature a concentric design. The one thing to appreciate about the Adventurer (outside of its functionality) is the way the dial is laid out. From a design perspective, the dial is perfectly symmetrical, and from a user’s perspective, it’s extremely easy to navigate. It’s easy on the eyes, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Adventurer measures in at 43.5mm across, a size that may seem large, but will wear smaller if black dial version is chosen. The case is completed polished, with a modular design that plays up to the sporty look. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers the dial and the case back offers a detailed glimpse of a decorated Orient caliber 46K40 movement, which is fully automatic. Each watch features a matte leather strap with a deployment clasp, which tops off a luxurious look that’ll fit right in while sitting in first class.
