Enter the Newest Orient TriStar: The Altair

Fresh for the fall is the Altair, which is our first offering from the storied TriStar collection. The watch gets its name from the star, which is most notably a part of the “Summer Triangle”. The Summer Triangle is visible in late autumn, and is a formation that showcases three bright stars— all of which come from separate constellations.

The Altair is a perfect example of how well retro-styling can blend together with classic looks. The watch itself features a date, day of the week sub-register, and 24-hour sub-register. Its sunburst dial is augmented by Roman numeral markings at the four axes and brilliant spear-shaped hands. It is presented in a vintage-inspired, 39.5mm cushion case, complete with wide lugs and a fully-polished finish. The case is rated at 30m of water resistance, and the watch is powered by the Orient caliber F6B22 movement, which is automatic, hand-winding, and hacking. It is important to note that until now, all TriStar watches were strictly automatic-only.

The Altair is available in eight different colorways in either gold tone or stainless steel and on bracelet or leather strap.
