The dial has a very clean layout, with polished Arabic numerals as hour markers and hash marks on the outer seconds track. Above each hour number is a round metallic pip, something that has not been seen in an Orient design until now. The polished leaf-styled hands help complete the timeless look. The Duke measures at 43mm wide, with a case that features an elegant mirror polish throughout. Each divot in the case was executed precisely, projecting the Duke as a watch that punches above its weight class. The sapphire crystal has a slight dome which magnifies the features of the watch and works perfectly with its hybrid design. Sapphire crystals are highly scratch resistant, resulting in a watch that looks brand new and scratch free with every wear.
