Just in time for this fall’s greatest shopping event is the Orient Leader FTT0J001B0. It’s similar to the white dialed version that was previously released but with a darker countenance and different accents. Nonetheless, this is a great quartz sport watch that should fit your everyday needs.

The defining feature of the Orient FTT0J001B Leader series is the brushed stainless steel plate that covers the middle portion of the otherwise muted black dial. The chronograph sub dial at the 12 o’clock position measures time at 1/20th of a second. The sub dial at the six o’clock is a part of the chronograph function and records the minutes and hours. It features a concentric graining and Arabic numbers. The nine o’clock sub dial is the small seconds hand. The hand set for the Leader is made of lumed picket fence hands and a straight arrow chronograph seconds hand that features a similar orange accent. The date is at the three o’clock position and the tachymeter takes up the surrounding chapter ring.

The FTT0J001B is 43.5mm in diameter and features a full stainless steel case (100m water resistance) and bracelet. An added bonus is the drilled in lug holes and screwed down crown. The crown and pump pushers are IP black, which match the bezel and dial. The stationary bezel features ergonomic grooves to help the wearer grip the watch while measuring time with the chronograph.
