The Return of the EM65: Here's the Classic AA02!

The Classic EM65 is back, and it’s better than ever. For quite some time, the original had been in scarce supply, with collectors and enthusiasts worldwide wondering where it went and how to find one. That search is over, as we are excited to announce the AA02, the second generation and successor of the famed series.

While last summer’s EM65 USA took on a different aesthetic, the AA02 still sports the identical design that made it so popular in the first place. However, there’s one noticeable difference: the second crown at the two o’clock position is gone. Why? Because we didn’t need it anymore. Not only is this the debut of the next generation model, it’s the introduction of Orient’s newest in-house caliber, the F6922. This is an automatic, hand-winding and hacking movement, capable of quick-setting the day and date with just the single crown. Also upgraded in the AA02 is the unidirectional diving bezel, which is now 120 click (up from an originally 60 click) for improved precision. In terms of case dimensions and other specifications, the AA02 picks up where the original left off. At 41.5mm and with a 200m water resistance and screwed down crown, the AA02 is still a practical and reliable wristwatch for the summer fun in the sun. Currently it is available on bracelet in Jet Black and Marine Blue. Priced at $325 MSRP.
