This stunning piece features all the bells and whistles you’ve come to love from Orient, and is priced to burn a hole in your wallet. And while the piece may seem more on the executive side, it possesses features that dress it down which makes for a very versatile watch. The dial of the new Conductor model is of a pearl, metallic white that employs a sun ray effect. The result is a rich texture that gleams in the light. Part of the gleam is also due in part to the stainless steel hour indices. They’re brushed at top and polished around the sides. The picket fence hands are fully polished with lume applied from the middle all the way to the tip. The dial features luminescent material above each hour marker. The chapter ring is matte white in color with black text that counts the seconds. The FFM01002W features Orient’s signature power reserve and date subdial that are found at twelve o’clock and six o’clock, respectively. The power reserve hand is lumed as well. The dial is protected by a tough sapphire crystal. The case of the Orient Conductor is 42mm wide. It is rated for 100m water resistance which is reinforced with a screwed down crown. The crown bears Orient’s logo. The case back exhibits Orient’s 46U40 in house caliber movement that is fully dressed. The solid stainless steel bracelet features a hexagonal, industrial looking bracelet that’s similar to the one found on the Orient Dignitary.
