Call it the year of the “unconventional” Contemporary Classicwatch. After the debut of January’s RA-AP00 SS, we’re excited to introduce another silhouette: the RA-AG00 Open Heart.

Orient Watch has always been known to carry one of the most extensive collections of open-heart timepieces, and it was only a matter of time that the Contemporary Classic received the open heart treatment. The RA-AG00 Open Heart also marks a lot of firsts for a Contemporary Classic collection. Aside from the open heart dial, it is the only model to not feature a date display (as a consequence of the open heart, of course). However, it’s clearly taken design cues from its predecessors. The thin, modern hour markers and hands are borrowed from the AC08 Version 4, while the signed onion-styled crown is similar to the one found on the Version 2. It wouldn’t be considered a Contemporary Classic without its signature domed dial and crystal. Dimensions-wise it lines up with the RA-AP00 SS: 40.5mm wide and just 12mm thick. It is powered by the polished caliber F6T22, a movement developed specifically for our open heart watches. The RA-AG00 Open Heart draws inspiration from past models to create an elegant, contemporary timepiece. The RA-AG00 Open Heart is available in Rose Gold, White, Yellow Gold, Black, and Blue.
