The new Orient Eminence FDW08003B0 is the stainless steel bracelet option to the very popular FDW08004B0 that was released and sold out quickly earlier this year. It’s got all the same bells and whistles as the rest of Orient Eminence Line; however the overall look is truly a sight to behold.
We’re extremely happy with how the dial turned on the FDW08003B0: The dial is absolutely stunning. In a soft, satin black, the dial has a sunray effect in the center and subtle etched pattern along the sides. The fully polished stainless steel batons and dauphine hands were brilliantly used and make the watch appear much more expensive than it actually costs. The open heart dial is in the same cut out design as seen in the rest of the Eminence line up and provides an excellent contrast against the black dial. The exposed jewels and balance wheel really contributes to the character of the piece. The sapphire crystal will keep the watch looking new and dial scratch free.
The 41mm sized case is very modern, and not too big for the average wrist size. The case is fully polished and the case back is exhibition by design. The decorative ribbing on the oscillating weight of the movement really puts the piece over the top in terms of features found on a watch in this price range. The Orient Eminence is priced at $450 MSRP, but many customers take advantage of the 30% off promotion (use code ‘summer2013’ at check out), bringing the price down to $315.
