Many people will agree that style should be affordable, and we’re definitely inclined to agree. Orient Watch has specialized in mechanical watch making for more than 60 years and is one of the few companies that manufacture their movements in house, at their factories in Japan. Because of this, they can afford to price their watches at more reasonable cost. This is particularly evident with the Orient Monterey FTT0V003B, which is new for the US market!
Similar to the FTT0V004Y and FTT0V004W, the FTT0V003B Monterey is a quartz chronograph with a black dial. It possesses a classic style in an otherwise sporty case. The spear shaped hands and angled stainless steel hour indices are highlighted further with its matte black dial. The outer dial features a nifty tachymeter, and at three o’clock is a date window for added functionality. The rectangular pushers and the onion styled crown reinforce its classic roots while the domed crystal completes the look of the watch.
The case size is 42.6mm which makes it a very modern piece. Its slim case size makes it easy to push under a cuff. The black leather band is very, very comfortable and can be broken in very easily. This level of comfort will make it the perfect for daily wear.
The Orient Monterey FTT0V003B retails at $305, but early adopters can get it for only $165 by using code ‘bythebay’ at check out. This offer is good until February 9!
