With your winter travel plans already made, it’s important not to forget that a reliable timepiece is a travel essential. Earlier in the year we introduced the Adventurer World Time watch, however we’re excited to announce the release of the GMT, an elevated executive-styled watch packed with exquisite features. Unlike the Adventurer World Time watch, the GMT only displays two sets of times at once. How? It has a fourth GMT hand that can be set independently from the time. You won’t be able to miss it: it’s long and curved nearly like an arrow. Once set, the hand will move forward as time elapses, tracking the second time zone with ease. The dial of the watch has all the embellishments that you’d find on a classic timepiece. All the stainless steel accents are mirror polished, and contrast beautifully with the guilloche and concentric grained textures on the dial. This is what Orient does best: creating a watch that may appear simple to the naked eye, but highly detailed at a closer glance. The crystal is a scratch resistant sapphire, which will help the watch look brand new every time you wear it. The GMT is a modestly sized watch at 42mm. The qualities of the case reflect the same opulence as the dial, with smooth edges and a polished surface. The watch is powered by Orient’s caliber 40P51 movement, which is not only automatic, but can be hand wound, and will stop fully when the crown is pulled out, for greater time setting. The GMT is available in White Rose, Black Steel, and White Blue Steel.
