The “blacked out” look has certainly been gained much attention on the wrists of casual men’s watch wearers. Orient has introduced a few black IP coated pieces, most notably the popular Orient Disk model and the AA02. Today we’re introducing the last part of the Orient Captain series— the FTT11001B0. This sporty chronograph has been given the all black treatment and looks absolutely stunning. The new Orient Captain FTT11001B contains all the features you’ve come to love from the collection: quartz chronograph, 200m water resistance, screwed down crown and a sleek, silky bezel. We at Orient Watch USA honestly cannot emphasize enough how legible this watch is. And it may seem like a run of the mill black and white watch, but after wearing it for a while one would notice that it’s not entirely black and white. The dial is prominently lumed on the hour markers, hands and bezel pip. The lume color is more of an eggshell white and is a great contrast to the stark white numbering and has markers in the dial and tachymeter. The bezel’s numbering is light silver and shimmers well in the light. The thinner case surely decreases the weight of this watch on the wrist, which cannot be said for many watches at 45mm in diameter. We feel that all these features make the Orient Captain one of the ultimate sport watches (ever). The Orient Captain FTT11001B retails at $440 but can be purchased for only $308 with code ‘winter2013’ at check out. [gallery ids="3289,3294,3293,3292,3291,3290"]
