The Orient Star Mechanical Moon Phase Has Arrived!

Now that the longest day of the year has passed and the nights are growing longer, it’s the perfect time to gaze up at the night sky to appreciate the twinkling stars and the moon in all its breathtaking forms.

Or, you can enjoy the night sky on your very own wrist.

The Orient Star Mechanical Moon Phase is the first of its kind from our US lineup, boasting a 50-hour power reserve at the 12:00 position, a semi-skeleton window at 9:00, and a distinct moon phase sub-register and date index at 6:00. While a mechanical moon phase complication is an achievement for any brand, placing all of these complications and features on a single dial is an even more exceptional design feat.

Being the first mechanical Moon Phase model ever included in our US collection, it will no doubt leave a lasting impression on anyone who catches a glimpse of this unforgettable watch. At 41mm across and 13.1mm thick, it is smaller than models such as the AK00 Version 3 and ET0T Version 2 line. The tapered lug widths keep it from catching on shirt sleeves, a common drawback of bulkier watches, so it can maintain its sleek and stylish presence. Sapphire crystal with AR coating tops the watch while the matte, radial burst dial with bar indices draw the eyes with its textured appearance. The radial burst pattern flows independently into the power reserve indicator and the undulating silhouette of the moon phase sub-register. The background of the moon phase disc is specially designed to embody the deep blue night sky and silvery moonlight.

While the expertly-crafted partial skeleton teases a glimpse into the inner workings of the watch, you can see even more of the remarkable Cal. F7M63 movement through the sapphire crystal exhibition case back.

It is available in three colorways – Black, White, and Ivory with rose gold markers/ hands. The rose gold colorway is available on a stainless steel bracelet with alternating brushed and polished finish on the links.
