Which Orient Diver Watch Should You Wear This Summer?

While diver and diver-styled watches may be the most versatile pieces you can wear, summer might be the best excuse to give them a little more wrist time. If you’re in need of a fresh new diver, we’re here to provide you with some insight on what to grab for the summer ahead.

The “All-Purpose” Diver - The following are perfect for just about any and every summer activity. Their 200m of water resistance is more than enough for pool-side lounging and snorkeling alike.

Classic AA02 – Orient Watch is nearly synonymous with the classic AA02 watch, a longtime fan favorite, and one that saw some upgrades under the hood. It’s casual sport design will complement T-shirt and shorts weather with absolute ease.

AA02 – The AA02 diver derives its look from the classic diver designs from history, and recently was also upgraded with our newest developed mechanical movement. Its versatile design makes it as useful for white water rafting as it does with a suit and tie.

AA02 USA II – When we were designing the AA02 USA II, we turned to the watch community for input. What came to fruition was one of the most complete watches we’ve ever released; one that featured all the bells and whistles to help it punch way above its weight class.

EM75 XL – Years ago and fresh off the success of the initial EM65, we found that the community longed for a larger version of it. Instead of just taking the original design and upping the size, we gave the EM65 a new look: with different hour markers and distinct pointer hands.

For Dives from Bonaire to Borneo - We’re not saying that you have to dive with these watches, but that they’re definitely built for exploring the depths below.

Neptune – A JIS-compliant diver watch that really kicks things up a notch. We’re talking sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, our own shock resistant structure, a power reserve indicator and perhaps the strongest lume we’ve ever put on a watch.

Pro Saturation – Our most robust diver to date, and used by recreational and commercial divers alike. It seems like its overbuilt, but there’s a reason: it’s 5mm thick sapphire crystal prevents the need for any kind of helium escape valve.

Cabana Dwellers - The watch we'd wear while doing our favorite summer activity.

Nami – This diver-style watch is unique for a lot of reasons: a flat bezel, a sleek carbon fiber dial, but most of all, a leather strap. Leather and water really don’t play well, so while you are absolutely able to jump into the water with this watch, you might want to swap the strap.
